Polypropylene cable ties are specifically engineered for applications requiring exceptional chemical resistance, particularly against acids and bases, where standard nylon ties may degrade. While offering a lower tensile strength than Nylon 6.6, they exhibit high impact strength and superior resistance to brittleness at low temperatures. These ties are recyclable (Resin Code 5) and are suitable for use in chemical processing, food and beverage, and other chemically aggressive environments.
